How can I find venture capital firms in UK to invest in my startup business? I would like some free resources.

2. Have a look on http://www.businesslink.gov.uk This site offers tons of info for new businesses and there will be a section on there about venture capital. I agree you should also try Google also to see what other help is out there. Although bear in mind that it will be hard to find individuals looking to invest in new businesses at the moment because of the economic climate, that's not to say you shouldn't try though! Good luck
3. Business Link is your best starting point. They provide free help and advice on starting in business and have lots of information on various funding options. Any funder will need to see a sound business plan before they even consider you. Business Link can either help you create one or cast their eye over what you've already prepared. As a rule, funders expect you to put up at least 50% of the capital you're asking for. Good luck!
